- One riddle a day. Everybody in the world gets the same one.
- You have 5 guesses. Each of the first 3 wrong guesses buys you a hint, and the last hint tells you the length and first letter.
- Spelling is forgiving. “a candle”, “candles” and “candel” all count.
- Solve it and you can copy a spoiler-free grid to share.
When does it change?
Midnight UTC, so the puzzle number means the same thing in every timezone.
Where are the answers?
On the server. Your guess is sent away to be checked and the answer is never in this page, so reading the source will not spoil it for you.
What do you store about me?
Nothing. There is no account and no database: your streak, your stats and your progress on today’s riddle live in this browser’s local storage and are never sent anywhere. A guess is the only thing that reaches the server, and it is checked and forgotten.
